Pearl Jam Eye Second Neil Young Collaboration

This doesn't really rise to the level of news, but I wanted an excuse to post a graphic.  Pearl Jam bassist, Jeff Ament, (who apparently is doing a lot of talking in the lead up to the Ten Reissue) recently told NME that if Neil Young asked, they'd record an album with him.

And bassist Jeff Ament admits they are desperate to get back in the studio with Young in a bid to build on their previous work.

He tells NME magazine, "If Neil called us now, unless we were in the middle of making our own record, we'd do it in a heartbeat.

"Making Mirror Ball was great, but we made it in four days. It would be really fun to make a record with him now knowing what we didn't know then. I think we could make a better record with him."

Will Neil Young ask?  Will Pearl Jam be free when he does call?  We shall see!
