Two bits of news on the "movie score" front, one of them PJ20 related ...
Chris Cornell has a composer credit for the movie Singles. He apparently wrote and/or recording some or all of the score. I'm not really clear. It is, however, clear that there is unreleased music from that work that
Cameron Crowe is fitting that into the upcoming
Pearl Jam Twenty movie as well as some
Temple of the Dog demos.
Also, Mike McCready
has another job scoring an adaptation of the K.L. Going novel,
Fat Kid Rules the World, directed by Matthew Lillard (
Scream, SLC Punk!).
Set against the backdrop of the Seattle music scene, Fat Kid Rules the World is a coming-of-age story about two dysfunctional teenagers searching for something more out of their completely hopeless existence.
