Our Pearl Jam March Madness Champion: Brain of J

Finally, in May, we got around to completing our March Madness competition.  Hey, it's not our fault, Pearl Jam released an album in April and since we weren't even close to crowning a winner, we had to pause and include those songs!

This year's champion:

BRAIN OF J

In a battle that walked us through all of Pearl Jam's greatest, all-time hits, and newest Dark Matter favorites, Brain of J takes its first championship in the history of our tournament.

Watch Pearl Jam's Interview with Zane Lowe

Those of us who are Apple-phobic didn't get a chance to watch Zane Lowe's PJ Headquarters interview with the band, but a couple of days ago, Pearl Jam posted it on their YouTube channel. It's one of the greatest videos you'll watch in your Dark Matter-induced haze over the coming months.

It's a great take on how the songs came to be, how Andrew Watt influenced the album, and what exactly is all that shit laying around in PJ Headquarters?
