On This Darkest Day, A Reason to Celebrate

As we prepared to "celebrate" today as the day that we have officially waited through the longest gap ever between Pearl Jam albums, exciting news has come our way.

It's still not clear whether Team McCready or Team Gossard will be victorious on the fight to set the deadline for Album #10's release, but a friend of TheSkyIScrape.com claims to have a small collection of demos meant for inclusion in that album.

Not all include lyrics and only 3 include vocals by Ed, but there is a tracklist of sorts.

Mercury (Ed on vocals)
Believed In (Ed on vocals)
3, 2, 1 (Jeff? on vocals)
The Gift (Matt? on vocals)
Jumbled
Alford Pleas
Transience  (Ed on vocals)

Will these make the final cut? Unknown.  Will we ever hear these? Well, if I'm lucky, I might.  At this point, there is no confirmation from outside sources, and there exists not even a picture, but we can hope, can't we?  Are we  being completely snowed?  Likely, but this is too exciting to keep under wraps.

Keep your fingers crossed!
