Neil Young Launches Digital Audio Player for Audiophiles

What if your iPod sounded 30X better?  If you answered, "Yes, please!" then Neil Young has the answer for you.  At South By Southwest, Young announced a Kickstarter campaign to launch a new audio player called a PonoPlayer that supports songs up to 9216 kbps.  What does that mean to you?  If you don't know, than this product probably isn't for you.

... Unless!  You're a rabid Pearl Jam fan, because many artists (Young, Arcade Fire, Beck, Patti Smith, Willie Nelson, Pearl Jam, Foo Fighters, and more) are offering a special signature series PonoPlayer which comes with their laser-etched signature and their two favorite albums pre-loaded for $400.  There are currently a little under 400 of Pearl Jam's remaining.
ARTIST SIGNATURE SERIES: PEARL JAM – Limited Edition Artist PonoPlayer in Chrome. Laser engraved with artist's signature. Comes pre-loaded with artist's top two favorite albums. Handmade leather case with presentation box. Plus: Website Thanks Limited (387 of 500 remaining)
Estimated delivery: Oct 2014
If you've ever been pissed that Pearl Jam records their mp3s at a low bitrate or demanded that the show you recorded never be converted to mp3s, than it is probably time for you to support this Kickstarter right now!
