TEN MILLION TENS
On Valentine's Day, about 4,000 Pearl Jam fans bought their sweethearts a copy of Pearl Jam's debut album, Ten, pushing the total sales of that album over 10 million copies. Ten was the 22nd album to reach that honor since Neilson SoundScan started tracking those stats in 1991.
The celebration was only mitigated by the fact that Human Clay by Creed managed to hit this landmark first. It's not all bad through, the 10 million club, which is also designated as "Diamond," also includes the likes of Metallica, Bob Marley, The Beatles, and Adele.
